There are a lot of options coilover options for my vehicle. After reading some reviews that were specifically for the 997 and the positive response that these were getting, I gave them a shot. I replaced the original factory suspension. Install was pretty straightforward ( I did have to call for support, but it was because I was being dumb and had nothing to do with the product). They fit on and were easy to adjust as advertised. It took a few rounds to get the hieght and stance to be what I wanted, but we got it.
I did opt in for the Swift springs upgrade, so the drive and handling portion of the review should be understood to include this. Rolled it out of the garage, took some photos and set off for a few slow rounds in the neighborhood. Immediately I noticed a difference in the bumps and road feel. It was stiff, but damp. The steering had tightened back up. Cabin noise had reduced. Felt great! I felt comfortable enough to let loose a little on some sweepers and switchbacks. Wow. Nigh and day difference to the old factory suspension. It was glued, it was responsive, and it was so much fun again. It's almost embarrassing to think that I was running it the way it came from the factory years ago.
