  • Perfect replacement for your failed ABC system or ABC delete. 
  • Fits SL500, SL550, SL600, SL55 AMG, SL63 AMG and SL65 AMG models. 
  • To defeat ABC light on dash, remove both ABC fuses from fuse box under hood, you can clear the error message by hitting the menu button on the steering wheel, or most model years can have the ABC system disabled in the ECU via a Star/Dealer level diagnostic tool.
  • To block off the old lines you have 2 options, block them off using ABC block off plugs readily available on the internet, or swap in a power steering pump from a non ABC model, corresponding to OEM part numbers of 0024668101 or 002466201. Make sure the replacement pump includes the mounting bracket, as your current mounting bracket can not be used on the new pump. 
  • No sway bars are needed with these coilovers, simply install and drive!
  • Adjustable T6 6061 front camber plates on all applicable McPherson style applications.
  • Koyo Japan Radial Bearing upper spring perch standard on all applicable McPherson applications. This eliminates spring bind, noise, and gives improved driver feedback.
  • 24 levels of damping adjustability combined with our high grade shock oil, not only do you feel the click in your fingers, you feel every damping adjustment in the driver’s seat.
  • High strength JIS G3445-STKM13C (DIN2393-ST44-2) carbon steel 52mm diameter seamless shock tube.
  • 44mm piston with digressive style valving characteristics provides maximum low speed damping response for ultimate performance while simultaneously giving a comfortable ride.
  • Mono-tube shock design, Increases shock oil capacity as well as displacement over twin tube designs for maximum performance.
  • High viscosity IP F.A. 5W damper oil ensures the best efficiency and consistency of shock-absorption and damping control.
  • Height adjustability is provided by the lower bracket which prevents the need to adjust the spring perch or preload, offering the maximum possible travel regardless of height setting.
  • Cold-bent springs made from high strength SAE9254 steel which keeps stable elastic modulus.
  • Powder coated steel lower brackets matching all factory brake line & ABS wire tabs, for seamless installation.

Best Coilovers Ever

If ever there was justification to go to coilovers, it's on an 03-06 500 SL with ABC problems. The ride is simply amazing. Every bit as comfortable as ABC. Goes around corners faster than I need to go. Super look. Di it. You will save money in the long and short run. I wish I had done this several thousands of ABC dollars ago.

Silvers - with a sway bar

First I'd like to say the Silvers are an excellent product. Anybody with a Mercedes with hydro suspension knows it could fail any day.

I have read the reviews where most people think the sway bar isn't needed. It is true the car will perform OK without a say bar.

Everybody that thinks they don't need one hasn't driven a coilover conversion where a sway bar has been installed. Before I put one on my 2004 SL500 I thought the same thing.

I can tell you that there is a big difference. It's most notable when cornering. A big difference in body roll. The sway bar helps keep the front end level for better control while cornering. That's all a sway bar is designed to do. Going straight down a level road a sway bar serves no purpose.

I have a 2004 SL500, and a 2005 SL55 AMG. The SL55 AMG has a fully functioning Hydro suspension. If Mercedes could have made it more reliable with age no one would consider installing coilovers.

I converted my SL500 to Silvers and have always thought it was the best option. Adding the sway bar brought that suspension closer to feeling as good as the ABC. The ABC is awesome when it's working. When it starts going south, the Silvers are a amazing replacement.

I love the feel of the Silvers but adding a sway bar did make a big difference. If and when my SL55 starts giving me trouble it will be time to install Silvers Neo-max with a front sway bar.

There are no modifications to install a sway bear. The R230 has all the holes, notchs, already there. Drop the subframe down, slide the sway bar in, and bolt it up. Not very hard to do.

If you have a R230 with Silver Neo-max's you will like the way the handling is improved by adding a front sway bar.You will like the improved handling. Really compliments the awesome job the Silvers do.

Great Product

Had them installed by a third party. Knew the pros and cons. Did my reading and reviewing, and I am glad to say that the coilovers have been excellent for me.

No more worries!

I've been back and forth whether I should replace the ABC on my SL55 but I decided that the fear of the ABC failing would always be with me. I bought the Neomax Coilovers on the recommendation from some Mercedes friends that I had and I love them. I now drive with confidence on roads where I know my ABC was starting to act up. Knowing that if there's a problem (and I don't expect one) it will be a much cheaper replacement. And it rides like it did when I first bought the car. Really looking forward to tweaking the coilovers but at the middle settings, they feel awesome!

We strive to bring you the best performing suspension at an affordable price. Every part of our coilovers is manufactured in our 36,000sqft state of the art facility. Our kits are hand assembled and every single shock is put on the dyno to ensure it is within the 5% variation we allow to pass. This is much lower than most manufacturers and there is no spot checking. Doing everything in house allows us to insure we have the best quality possible.
