Never tried, and I'm pissed I hadn't sooner

I bought these for my Lexus LS430. Coming from a custom spec ordered set of D2 Brand coilovers on my race car, and having owned various price ranges of coils from KWs down to Godspeeds. I'm genuinely shocked with the quality and price you get with these. I didn't use swift springs or anything of the crap, I wasn't intending on being a stance boy. Just the way the economy is right now, complete shock assembly front and rear for my big body was only 200 bucks cheaper than full on coilovers, so I said fuck it and threw down for these. I'm really glad I made that decision, the recommended springs that came with these are to my liking, not to rough, not too stiff. To be honest feels like a lot of the newer luxury cars stiffness now a days. Though a wild hair climbed up my butt and I figured just because the race car has been down awhile, what the heck, let me throw some more aggressive dampening settings at these with a alignment recipe I'm using for something much less than it's weight and wheel base and see if this big sedan can corner. I didn't expect much of it as I'm running 225/50/R18 on it mainly for fuel economy, it's narrowed than the factory recommended widths of 245. So when I find myself pulling enough G's mid corner that the currently disabled VSC starts singing rather aggressively from the dash, I was to say the least shocked. Here's an almost 4k sedan, performing as light on as feet as some of the club spec cars I've ran in the past with much lower centers of gravity and weights. Needless to say I was thoroughly impressed and tickled pink to know that these are of much higher quality performance wise than the price. And even at those different preload and dampening settings it still rode fairly civilized and didn't my my co-pilots assess jiggle uncontrollably on rougher roads.

Well worth the money, the D2's from my race car are nearing their end of life, and I think I know exactly which coils I will be replacing them with to keep costs down and not sacrifice quality of life too and from the events

In 1999 after years of racing time attack and constantly changing suspension setups realizing they all had major flaws. It became obvious there wasn’t a quality performance suspension on the market, Soon after with lots of trials and tribulations Silver’s was born. Silver’s combines both the passion for automotive racing and the knowledge of the industry. Silver’s was started with the performance comes first mindset, and to this day 19 years later it still stays true to that. Every kit is designed with track performance in mind, with equal focus on reliability.

Our Mission

We strive to bring you the best performing suspension at an affordable price. Every part of our coilovers is manufactured in our 36,000sqft state of the art facility. Our kits are hand assembled and every single shock is put on the dyno to ensure it is within the 5% variation we allow to pass. This is much lower than most manufacturers and there is no spot checking. Doing everything in house allows us to insure we have the best quality possible.
